ColorForge ist ein PNT-Konverter für ARK: Survival Ascended: Du lädst ein Bild, wählst ein Ziel-Item (Gemälde, Flagge, Schild, Billboard, War Map), richtest das Motiv im Editor aus und exportierst eine .pnt-Datei. Alles läuft im Browser auf deinem Gerät — ohne Hochladen der Bilddaten zu einem Konvertierungs-Server.

Schritt für Schritt

Bild wählen: JPG, PNG, WebP oder GIF (bis ca. 15 MB).
Zieltyp wählen, z. B. Painting Canvas, Multi- oder Single-Panel-Flagge, Billboard, Schild, War Map.
Bild im Rahmen positionieren, zoomen oder strecken, bis die Vorschau passt.
Optional Dithering und Farbpalette anpassen.
Export starten und die heruntergeladene .pnt-Datei speichern.
Datei in den Ordner MyPaintings legen, typischer Pfad: …\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved\MyPaintings (Steam-Bibliothek). Fehlt der Ordner, kannst du ihn anlegen.
Im Spiel das Motiv auf dem gewählten Item laden.

Tipps für gute Ergebnisse

Motiv mit klarem Kontrast und großen Flächen wirkt in ARK oft besser.
Große Flächen (Leinwand, Flaggen) zeigen mehr Details als kleine Schilder.
Probier bei Unsicherheit kurz BAL- und HQ-Dithering im Tool.

Nein. Verarbeitung und Export erfolgen lokal im Browser. Details stehen in der Datenschutzerklärung.

Warum sehen Farben anders aus als im Original?

ARK nutzt eine begrenzte Palette (127 Farbstoff-Töne). Jede Software muss auf diese Menge abbilden — eine exakte 1:1-Farbwiedergabe gibt es nicht.

Wo liegt der MyPaintings-Ordner?

Unter Windows typisch unter SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved\MyPaintings — je nachdem, wo deine Steam-Bibliothek liegt.

Welche Items werden unterstützt?

ColorForge is a .pnt converter for ARK: Survival Ascended: upload an image, pick a target (painting canvas, flag, sign, billboard, war map), fit your artwork in the editor, and export a .pnt file. Processing stays in your browser — image pixels are not sent to a conversion server.

Step by step

Pick an image: JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF (up to about 15 MB).
Choose a target type (canvas, multi/single-panel flag, billboard, signs, war map).
Position, zoom, or stretch until the preview looks right.
Optionally tune dithering and palette.
Export and save the downloaded .pnt file.
Place the file in MyPaintings, typically under …\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved\MyPaintings inside your Steam library folder. Create the folder if it does not exist.
In-game, load the painting on your chosen item.

Tips for better results

High-contrast artwork with clear shapes often maps better to ARK.
Large surfaces (canvas, flags) show more detail than small signs.
Try BAL vs HQ dithering in the tool if you are unsure.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Conversion runs locally in your browser. See the privacy notice for details.

Why do colours look different from the source image?

ARK uses a limited dye palette (127 tones). Any converter must map to that set — a perfect 1:1 colour match is not technically possible.

Where is the MyPaintings folder?

On Windows, commonly under SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved\MyPaintings, depending on where your Steam library lives.

Which items are supported?

Including painting canvas, multi- and single-panel flags, metal/wood billboards, several sign types, and the ASA war map. Use the in-app preset list for the exact set.
